Cash 3 is a daily draw game from the Mississippi Lottery with prizes of up to $500, eight play styles, and a choice of wagers. Cash 3 is Mississippi's third draw game, launched on September 1, 2020, after Powerball and Mega Millions were introduced on January 30, 2020.
Oct 24, 2019 The new state lottery will sell Powerball and Mega Millions tickets starting Jan. Many Mississippians have been driving across state lines to play, but the opportunity to stay in state is sure. The Mississippi State Lottery is one of the most recently established lotto games in the US. The lottery in Mississippi was authorized to open by the Alyce Clarke Mississippi Lottery Act in 2018. It was a tight vote, coming in at 58-54. It followed a narrow yet unfavorable vote the day prior.
Draws are held seven nights a week at around 9:50 pm CT, and the winning numbers will be posted on this site soon afterwards. Results will also be broadcast on TV, via WCBI-Columbus, WXXV-Gulfport, WJTV-Jackson, WMDN-Meridian and WGBC-Meridian (times may vary by schedule).
How to Play
To start playing Cash 3, grab a play slip and select your favorite three digits from 000 through 999. Or simply check the Quick Pick box and the lottery terminal will randomly choose your numbers. You can also choose just one or two digits and let Quick Pick fill in the rest.
Cash 3 has a choice of eight play types, with different ways to match the numbers drawn to win a prize and various odds of winning. The game offers fixed cash prizes, so the amount to be won is guaranteed, no many how many other players or winners there are.
Do you want to play your lucky numbers more than once? Multi-Draw is the most convenient way to play up to seven consecutive draws.
Players may choose a $0.50 or $1 wager for most play types. Two plays cost more: Three Way Combo is $3 and Six Way Combo is $6. How much you bet determines which play types you can choose and how much you can win. The top prize for a $1 play is $500, and for a $0.50 play it's $250.
For a $1 bet, select from four play types:
- Exact Order: Win if your numbers match the numbers drawn in the exact same order
- Any Order: Win if your numbers match in any order
- Exact or Any Order: Win if your numbers match in exact or any order
- 1-Off: Win if your numbers are one digit up or one digit down from the numbers drawn.
Let's say 123 is drawn - with 1-Off, you'll win if your number is 023, 113, 122, 124, 133 or 223
For a $0.50 bet, select either Exact Order or Any Order play types.
